Job Description
Bert Norman's Plumbing is currently hiring for Service Plumbing Technicians. Our company offers excellent compensation, PTO, 401K, elective insurance, company vehicle, uniforms and tablet.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and install plumbing systems Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems Prepare written work cost estimates for clients Adhere to safety policies and procedures Qualifications:
Previous experience in plumbing 1 + years of plumbing experience Ability to handle physical workload Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation is based on experience and the willingness of the employee to advance within the organization. We are here to support our staff at every turn!Further Duty Description:
- Be able to install and service the following equipment:
- Water Heater
- Water Softener
- Well Pump and equip
- Sump Pump and equip
- Garbage Disposal
- RO Equipment
- All Faucets (kitchen and lav)
- Toilets and Urinals
- Repipe water and sewer
- All backups - mainline, kitchen, lav
- Video inspect sewer lines
- Shower Pan Installations
- Slab Leak Detection and Repair Technicians need to:
- MUST have 1 + years experience in residential service plumbing
- MUST be able to pass regular drug testing; be open to background checks; and have a valid driver's license and a relatively clean driving record
- MUST be willing to work after hours and occasional weekends and holidays. We do have a rotating on call schedule.
- MUST have excellent customer service skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to perform regular manual labor
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to learn by observation and hands-on experience
- Follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Have effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers
- Be open to learning new things and applying them quickly
