The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, particularly in construction plumbing and remodeling projects. This role involves working on various construction sites, performing a range of plumbing tasks, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Perform pipe threading and welding as required for various plumbing applications. Conduct field service work to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for the installation of plumbing fixtures and systems. Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions for plumbing installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Participate in remodeling projects, ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to code. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing installations. Proficiency in pipe threading and welding techniques is preferred. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members on-site. Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations.
