CMoulton LLC Plumbing and Gas is looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Licensed Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team serving customers throughout Cape Cod and the Islands . We are looking for a plumber who is confident in their trade, takes pride in their workmanship, and understands that excellent service is about more than fixing a problem — it is about building trust with the customer and identifying the right solution for their needs . The primary responsibility of this position will be responding to incoming residential and commercial service calls, diagnosing plumbing issues, providing professional recommendations, and pricing jobs on site . The technician will work closely with our office team throughout the day to efficiently manage the service schedule and communicate job status, parts, materials, and customer needs. Plumbing industry sales experience is strongly encouraged. The ideal candidate will be comfortable discussing repair and replacement options with customers, explaining the benefits of recommended work, and confidently presenting estimates and options.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to daily incoming residential and commercial plumbing service calls Work closely with the office to manage and prioritize the daily service schedule Diagnose plumbing problems and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution Communicate professionally with customers and explain plumbing issues clearly Provide customers with repair and replacement options when appropriate Price and present jobs on site Prepare accurate estimates using company pricing and procedures Obtain customer approval and communicate approved work to the office Complete service work in a professional and timely manner Properly document completed work, recommendations, parts, materials, and customer interactions Maintain accurate records through the company's service management software Maintain and organize your service van, tools, parts, and equipment Communicate with the office regarding parts, scheduling, job status, and follow-up needs Maintain a clean, professional appearance and work area Follow all applicable plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Current Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Plumber License , as required for the position Strong residential plumbing service experience Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems, parts, fittings, fixtures, tools, and equipment Ability to accurately diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions Ability to price plumbing work and present estimates to customers Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated Willingness to work throughout Cape Cod and the Islands Each technician will be provided with their own: Fully equipped service van Company tablet Necessary plumbing tools and equipment Access to company service and pricing systems Candidates should be comfortable using a tablet to: View and update service calls Communicate with the office Access customer information Create and present estimates Document completed work Upload job photos Track parts and materials Complete service documentation
