Read This Part First You would best fit this role if you are young and hungry. You will be in the trenches for the first few months as you help us GROW our field crew as an experienced leader in the plumber industry. We are a new company growing FAST
lots of room for you to grow quickly and make lots of money while doing it.
WE WANT YOU TO RETIRE HERE!
!!
This is a CIPP lining job.
You will be a lining technician for the first 6 to 9 months . Roughly 80% of your week is CIPP — full liners, point repairs, jetting, camera work. The other 20% is the light plumbing that comes up on those lining projects. We do not do repipes. We do not do plumbing-only jobs. We are not going to turn you into a service plumber running calls. What your license does is let us stop subbing out the plumbing side of our own lining work, and let us pull our own permits. That's it. That's the whole ask.
What does that plumbing work consist of?
Usually minor things... cutting out a 3' portion of the sewer line underneath the basement floor so we can get our lining equipment in there... cutting out a vertical stack and replacing it with PVC... installing new floor cleanouts after we break them... pulling and resetting toilets... So if you're a master who's tired of repipes and water heaters and would rather run trenchless work all day — this is a very good seat. If you want to be a full-time plumber, you'll hate it here, and we'd rather you know that now.
What We Do Cleaning :
Milwaukee and Picote equipment, van
and trailer-mounted hydro jetters Full lining : CIPP by inversion and pull-in-place, hot water cure and UV cure Spot lining and point repairs : ambient cure and UV cure, 2-foot sections up to 20-foot runs We're expanding into five new markets over the next five years. The person who takes this role gets in before that happens.
THE GOAL WITH THIS POSITION
You would go from 100% in the field hands on, to being a field supervisor, to being a project manager.
What You Will Be Doing About 80% of the time — lining: Running CIPP jobs start to finish — measure, wet out, install, cure, reinstate, verify Inversion and pull-in-place full liner installs, hot water and UV cure Spot lining and point repairs, ambient and UV cure, 2-foot sections up to 20-foot runs Drain cleaning and hydro jetting, including chain knocking and descaling with Picote tooling Camera inspection before and after — knowing what you're looking at and calling it correctly Leading a 2-3 man lining crew — a prep guy, a technician, and you calling the shots on site About 20% of the time — plumbing: The light plumbing work that comes up on lining projects.
Pulling permits and working with inspectors. Serving as the responsible individual on our plumbing contractor license. Being the technical authority when a job crosses into plumbing territory You are the face of the company on site. Homeowners and property managers should walk away thinking they hired professionals.
What You Need to Have Active Minnesota Master Plumber license. Drain cleaning experience — hydro jetting and chain knocking specifically. The reliability to be where you said you'd be, when you said you'd be there. Valid driver's license and a driving record clean enough to put you in a company truck. No CDL required.
What Experience
WE WANT CIPP
lining experience — hot water cure, UV cure, ambient, any of it Spot lining and point repair experience Experience as the responsible individual on a contractor license Confined space entry certification OSHA 30 Never lined a pipe? Apply anyway. We have the lining expertise in-house and we will teach you. We'd rather train a good master plumber on our equipment than hire a lining guy and wait years for a license. We train good people who care about the work. What we can't teach is showing up and giving a d
