Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, including construction plumbing and remodeling. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and performing various plumbing tasks on construction sites. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage. Conduct field service work to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues at client locations. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades on construction sites to complete remodeling projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project details. Experience Proven experience as a plumber in residential or commercial settings, with a focus on construction plumbing. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and plumbing equipment. Experience in remodeling projects is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Previous field service experience is a plus. A maintenance person background may be beneficial for this role.
