Role:

As a CBRE Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain water, waste, vent, and medical gas distribution systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and code requirements to install plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures. Conduct plumbing safety inspections, including backflow device testing, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Support facility operations by responding to emergencies, assisting with building maintenance projects, and collaborating with staff and contractors. Demonstrate strong technical expertise and leadership by solving complex problems, training and mentoring others, promoting HSE compliance, and modeling

What You'll Need:

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver's License required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Why CBRE?
