South Shore Plumbing & Heating is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Plumber/Plumbing Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, provides excellent customer service, and has experience in both residential and commercial plumbing. Responsibilities Install, repair, troubleshoot, and service residential and commercial plumbing systems. Install, repair, troubleshoot, and gas and oil boilers. Diagnose and repair plumbing fixtures including: Faucets, Toilets, Hose bibs, Outdoor showers, and ect. Install and service gas, oil, and electric water heaters. Perform plumbing rebuilds and replacements. Install and repair gas piping while following all applicable gas codes. Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional work area. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of:

Gas and oil boiler installation, repair, troubleshooting, and wiring Residential and commercial plumbing systems Water heater installation and repairs (gas, oil, and electric) Gas piping and gas codes Experience with plumbing rough-ins. Winterization experience is a plus. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues independently. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions. Required Skills Proficient with hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic math skills for measurements and layout. Knowledge of plumbing construction methods and best practices. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Must have your own hand tools. Valid, clean driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from work.
