The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plumbing installation and repair. This role involves working on various job sites, performing tasks that require both technical knowledge and physical stamina. Most of our work is jobbing and repair work. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems are installed correctly and function efficiently. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform pipe threading to ensure secure connections in plumbing systems. Solder and or press copper connections troubleshoot leaks and make repairs as needed. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and construction practices. Experience with driving is a must for transporting tools and materials to job sites. Ability to build and assemble plumbing systems efficiently. Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques and standards. Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
