Position Overview Remedy Plumbing is seeking a skilled, dependable, and customer-focused Plumber to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time, communicates clearly with customers, and enjoys the variety of a fast-paced service business — from routine repairs to emergency calls. Key Responsibilities Service & Repair Diagnose and repair plumbing issues for residential and commercial customers, including leaks, clogs, and fixture failures Install, repair, and replace water heaters, water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, and well pumps Perform drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and sewer camera inspections Install and service toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, water softeners, and filtration systems Handle new construction, remodel, and addition plumbing work Respond to frozen pipe calls and other emergency service needs Customer Service Serve as a professional, courteous representative of Remedy Plumbing in customers' homes and businesses Clearly explain diagnoses, repair options, and pricing so customers understand the work being done Deliver dependable, high-quality workmanship that supports our reputation for honest, 5-star service Complete accurate job documentation, including work performed, parts used, and time on site Operations Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently Maintain a stocked, organized service vehicle Coordinate with the office/dispatch team on scheduling, routing, and job updates Follow all applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and licensing requirements Qualifications Proven experience as a plumber (residential and/or commercial) Working knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and best practices Ability to diagnose problems accurately and recommend appropriate solutions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time in the field Valid driver's license and clean driving record Willingness to participate in on-call/emergency rotation as needed Preferred Experience Water heater installation and repair Sewer and drain line repair, hydro jetting, and camera inspection Gas line repair and replacement New construction and remodel plumbing Well pump systems and water filtration/softener installation What We Offer Stable, year-round employment with a well-established, locally owned company Supportive, team-oriented work environment Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided Opportunity to work on a wide variety of residential and commercial jobs Competitive pay based on experience Benefits 401(k) matching Remedy Plumbing, LLC is registered, bonded, and insured, and has proudly served Darke, Miami, and Preble County since 2009.
