Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while delivering top-quality service to clients. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to execute precise plumbing installations Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and other mechanical tools to complete projects efficiently Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to optimize performance and longevity Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and building codes while managing heavy lifting and physical tasks safely Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects Valid journeyman plumber license or certification demonstrating completion of required training programs Extensive knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building regulations, and safety standards Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques including gas piping systems installation Mechanical aptitude with experience in HVAC systems is a plus; familiarity with remodeling or handyman work is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of construction environments including climbing ladders or scaffolding Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system layouts; experience with carpentry is advantageous Valid driver's license for commercial driving duties; experience operating construction vehicles preferred Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining a safe work environment.
