Journeyman Plumber - Experienced (Full-Time)

Job Overview:

Battavio Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is looking for a Journeyman licensed (or equivalent) plumber, with extensive service experience and knowledge with light construction for our growing Plumbing department. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing plumbing systems for both residential, commercial and some new construction projects. Must be able to start immediately or within 2 weeks of hire date.

The ideal candidate requirements include:

Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with a Journeyman's certification (or equivalent experience) Must have valid PA Driver's License Clean background check and driving record Self-starter, have strong communication skills and results oriented Requires strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt quickly and work well with others Communicate clearly with office staff and customers, before, during and after service calls and/or installations. This includes discussions regarding pricing of materials and collecting payment, etc. Customer service, sales & communication skills Must be capable of lifting 60lbs+ Job Duties include: Ability to work independently and w/ a team Boiler repair/maintenance/installs, water heater installs, residential and commercial toilet resets or installs, plumbing fixture repairs/installs, well pumps, etc. Understand and study plans and drawings to determine work requirements for plumbing projects Assist with plumbing remodeling projects and rough-ins Experience with gas line installations Experience with sewer cleaning, repairs and replacement and well pumps Experience with/certified in performing backflow tests, repairing and/or installing backflow assemblies
