We are continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced, dependable Rhode Island-licensed Journeyman Plumber, Journeyman Pipefitter, or Master-level tradesperson to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands plumbing and heating systems, and can confidently handle jobs in the field while providing a professional experience for our customers. Experience with boilers, hydronic heating, troubleshooting, service work, and installations is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform residential and light commercial plumbing and heating installations, service, and repairs Assemble, install, alter, and repair piping systems for water, steam, gas, heating, and related applications Install, service, diagnose, and troubleshoot boilers and hydronic heating systems Diagnose plumbing and heating problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, manufacturer instructions, and applicable codes Inspect and test piping systems and mechanical equipment Complete accurate job notes, photos, documentation, and required paperwork Lead and assist apprentices and helpers in the field Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Follow company procedures and all applicable safety and code requirements Requirements Valid Rhode Island Journeyman Plumber, Journeyman Pipefitter, or Master license required High school diploma or GED Trade school or technical training preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record DMV/RMV check required Background check required Plumbing and heating service experience Boiler and hydronic heating experience strongly preferred Ability to troubleshoot and work independently Ability to work effectively as part of a team Professional appearance and communication skills Dependable and punctual Ability to properly document work performed in the field Skills We Value Strong plumbing and mechanical knowledge Boiler and hydronic heating experience Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Knowledge of Rhode Island plumbing and mechanical codes Ability to read blueprints and job specifications Strong customer service and communication skills Clean, professional workmanship Safety-focused attitude Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to teach and support apprentices What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and license level Overtime opportunities Year-round work Paid holidays Paid vacation Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Company uniforms Company truck may be provided depending on position and qualifications Training and continuing education opportunities Opportunity for advancement as the company continues to grow Long-term position with a locally owned company Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday , with overtime opportunities and occasional on-call work as needed.
