Position Summary The Master Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential plumbing systems while delivering professional customer experience. This role requires the technician to not only hold the license for the branch, but also independently troubleshoot plumbing issues, perform repairs, and clearly explain repair options to homeowners. Technicians are expected to complete plumbing repairs and installations while identifying additional opportunities that may benefit the customer and contribute to service revenue. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to residential plumbing service calls including leaks, fixture issues, water heater problems, pipe repairs, and other plumbing system failures. Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Clearly explain plumbing problems and recommended repair options to homeowners. Present repair and replacement options to customers and obtain approval to complete work. Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations including fixtures, valves, piping, water heaters, and related plumbing components. Identify opportunities for additional repairs, system improvements, or upgrades that may benefit the customer. Generate Tech Generated Leads (TGLs) for larger projects that require installation or project management support. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, work performed, and recommendations through ServiceTitan. Maintain professionalism and cleanliness while working inside customers' homes. Safely operate plumbing tools, service equipment, and service vehicles. Maintain organization and readiness of personal tools and equipment. Qualifications Must hold Master plumber license. Minimum of three (3) years of residential plumbing service technician experience required. Experience must include independently diagnosing plumbing issues, presenting repair options, and completing plumbing repairs in residential homes. Apprentice, helper, or new construction-only plumbing experience qualify for this role. Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, including fixtures, piping, valves, and water heaters. Ability to independently diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential environments. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls throughout the day. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Tools and Equipment The Master Plumber is expected to provide and maintain their own basic plumbing tools necessary to perform residential plumbing service work. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in confined spaces and residential environments. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as required. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Pay:
$38.00 - $42.00 per hour
