Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Journeyman Plumber and bring expert craftsmanship to a variety of high end residential, and light commercial. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems with precision and efficiency. You will lead a crew in underground, rough and finish plumbing stages. Your expertise will ensure that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations, delivering reliable solutions that meet client expectations. Responsibilities Crew Lead for a small crew. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, gas piping system standards, and safety regulations Conduct routine maintenance and repair of existing plumbing systems to optimize performance and longevity. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications. Maintain a safe job site by following all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, hazardous materials handling, and site-specific safety procedures. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings with accuracy. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, gas piping systems standards, and safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions on construction sites. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or remodeling projects is a plus. Valid driver's license. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system design.
