Teya Enterprises, LLC - 2.6 Fort Belvoir, VA Job Details Full-time From $39.41 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Plumbing License English High school diploma or GED Driver's License Journeyman Plumber Water systems Fixture installation Power tools Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support Base Operations and facility maintenance activities at Fort Belvoir. The Plumber will perform skilled installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems throughout the installation. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial or institutional plumbing experience. Natural gas system experience and backflow prevention certifications are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing piping, fittings, valves, fixtures, and associated equipment. Diagnose and repair leaks, clogged drains, damaged piping, faucets, toilets, water heaters, hot water tanks, and other plumbing equipment. Cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install piping using appropriate tools and equipment. Work with various piping materials, including steel, iron, brass, copper, and plastic. Test piping systems using water or air and pressure gauges to identify leaks and verify proper operation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility plumbing systems. Safely operate power tools and hand tools associated with the plumbing trade. Read and interpret work orders, technical information, and applicable plumbing requirements. Coordinate with other skilled trades and facility maintenance personnel. Perform work in accordance with company safety policies and applicable codes and regulations. Required Qualifications Current Journeyman Plumber license. Minimum one three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber. High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience performing plumbing maintenance and repairs in commercial, institutional, industrial, or similar facilities. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing. Preferred Qualifications Experience with natural gas piping and gas systems is a plus. Backflow prevention/testing certification of any kind is a plus. Experience maintaining plumbing systems within a Base Operations Support (BASOPS), military installation, government facility, campus, hospital, or other large facility environment. Experience working as part of a multi-trade Operations & Maintenance team. Work Environment This position involves active facility maintenance work and may require frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling of tools and materials, with occasional climbing, crawling, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.

From $39.41 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
