In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. A strong foundation in plumbing building codes, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge is essential to succeed in this energetic role. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage components on construction sites and existing structures Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently and safely Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to prevent failures and extend system longevity Conduct inspections of plumbing installations for quality assurance and compliance with building codes during various project phases Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, electricians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and resolve technical issues promptly Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, gas piping systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of plumbing building codes, safety regulations, mechanical systems, and local regulations governing construction projects Familiarity with maintenance procedures for plumbing systems including troubleshooting leaks or blockages Field service experience working on construction sites or existing buildings is highly desirable Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for remodeling or assembly tasks involving plumbing components Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship while maintaining a safe work environment.
