You will play a pivotal role in mentoring our mechanical team and driving operational excellence to ensure every project meets rigorous quality standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Coordinate daily shop floor activities and workflow to ensure project deadlines are consistently met. Perform comprehensive disassembly, failure analysis, and reassembly of industrial pumps to restore peak operational efficiency. Provide technical leadership and hands-on training to mechanics, fostering a culture of high-quality workmanship. Interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics to guide repair processes and ensure accurate assembly. Collaborate with management to develop value-driven repair proposals that address root causes of equipment degradation. Maintain strict adherence to QA/QC protocols and safety standards to ensure a secure and efficient work environment. Act as a technical point of contact for internal teams and clients, providing expert troubleshooting and status updates. Support facility operations by managing shop resources and stepping into supervisory duties when required. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the industrial pump repair industry. Demonstrated expertise in repairing multi-stage pumps (e.g., BB series) and centrifugal equipment. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and applying ANSI, Hydraulic Institute, or API standards. Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to diagnose systemic mechanical failures. Competency in Microsoft Office suite for generating detailed service reports and digital documentation. Preferred Skills Prior experience in field service environments, particularly within power or steel sectors. Proven ability to lead or mentor a team in a fast-paced shop setting. Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective client and team engagement.
