Team Leader, Wire Harness and Cable Assembly Location:

Onsite, day shift, Monday-Friday About the Role Our client, an electronic manufacturing services provider specializing in cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and PCB assemblies, is looking for a Team Leader to run a production cell of 4-5 people. This is a hands-on leadership role: about 80% of the work is manual crimping and soldering, and the team lead is expected to both work the floor and own the staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day direction of their team. What You'll Do Manage the Wire Processing Center, including cutting, stripping, terminating, and setting up machine dies and applicators Staff and schedule your team day to day, covering shifts, balancing workload, and handling call-offs or gaps Oversee job setup and First Article Inspection to ensure quality standards are met from the start Instruct team members on proper technique and workmanship standards Keep your manager informed on what your team is working on and why, without needing to be asked Monitor time standards, quality metrics, and recommend efficiency improvements What We're Looking For Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on industry experience Real, demonstrated experience staffing and scheduling a team, not just doing the work yourself Ability to read prints, drawings, BOM, and quality documentation Experience with tooling setup, maintenance, and calibration

Preferred:

familiarity with IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards A positive, coachable attitude and the ability to lead by example on the floor
