Responsibilities Prepare construction surfaces thoroughly through sanding, cleaning, caulking, drywall finishing, and surface priming to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Apply porcelain slaps using hand tools, paint sprayers (including airless and conventional spray systems), brushes, and rollers with precision and consistency. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute coating plans aligned with project requirements. Conduct color matching and visual color comparisons to achieve the desired finish quality. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, harnesses, ladders, and power tools safely while following all safety protocols. Perform surface repairs such as stucco patching, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks as needed during projects. Assist in site setup, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance to support efficient project progression. Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating for painting projects and material usage planning. Deep understanding of color theory principles to ensure precise color matching and aesthetic consistency. Proven expertise in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and renovation projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and surface preparation equipment. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection and safe ladder use. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for surface preparation and coating application. Strong background in construction site experience with drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, fixture installation, and general handyman skills. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating coverage and material estimates. Experience with construction spray painting techniques such as dry spray application and coating procedures on various surfaces. Familiarity with renovation processes involving remodeling or maintenance tasks across different building types.
