Job Description
About us Care Sheet Metal & Roofing, Inc. is a family owned and operated business in Hollywood, FL celebrating 30 years serving south Florida. We value our help and are looking for a CDL/Roofer to join our team!
Duties:
- Safely operate a truck to transport materials and equipment to various job sites
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on job assignments
- Complete required paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Assist with on-site duties as needed, such as fabricating, concrete forming, restoring, plumbing, heavy lifting, drywall, masonry, caulking, etc.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and manual labor
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is a plus
- Maintenance Person skills are a plus
