Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Modular Home Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing modular homes with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient, and beautifully crafted modular residences that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative housing projects, utilizing your carpentry and construction skills to create comfortable living spaces. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly of modular components Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, fixture mounting, and trim carpentry Assemble modular home sections on-site or in factory settings with attention to detail and safety protocols Install exterior siding, interior fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, caulking, and other finishing materials to achieve a polished look Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of large modules or materials safely using appropriate equipment Conduct rebar installation, framing (including metal stud framing), plastering, mold remediation, and restoration tasks as needed Follow construction plans precisely while adhering to power tool safety standards and industry best practices Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry, woodworking, or construction site work with a focus on modular or prefabricated structures Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking and framing machines Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications such as wood construction materials and metal studs Familiarity with drywall installation, plastering, rebar installation, siding application, fixture installation, and remodeling techniques Experience working safely with power tools for woodworking and general construction site safety protocols Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly while maintaining proper form and safety standards Strong understanding of building codes related to residential construction and modular homes Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings quickly and accurately Previous experience in restoration industry work or mold remediation is a plus Valid experience in handling construction plans for complex assemblies involving multiple trades Join us in building innovative modular homes that transform communities!
