Job Description

Maineline is a family-owned sign company based in Antrim, NH. We design, produce, and install signage for residential apartment communities, with an emphasis on quality, precision, and craftsmanship. We are looking for a Sign Installation Specialist
  • who takes pride in doing work the right way and enjoys the technical, hands-on nature of installation.
This role is ideal for someone who values clear expectations, established processes, and producing error-free results. We provide thorough training, consistent support, and opportunities to grow your technical expertise. Travel is a core part of this position, with regular overnight trips throughout the East Coast and occasional travel nationwide. What You'll Do As a Sign Installation Specialist, you will follow proven installation standards to ensure every project is completed accurately, safely, and on time.
Responsibilities include:
  • Install interior and exterior signage, including wall-mounted, post-mounted, vinyl graphics, and specialty environmental signage
  • Measure, level, and align signage with exact precision
  • Apply vinyl and complete detailed finishing work
  • Read and interpret architectural plans to verify accurate placement
  • Use mechanical and electrical hand tools safely and correctly
  • Lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (50+ lbs)
  • Climb ladders, use lifts, and work at elevated heights
  • Comply with all state and federal safety regulations, as well as company safety standards
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
  • Document completed work and perform quality checks before leaving each site
  • Engage with on-site contacts professionally and factually to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Travel by vehicle or plane to installation sites, typically Monday-Friday, with overnight stays Travel Expectations Travel is an essential part of this position.
  • Average of three weeks per month on the road
  • Mix of vehicle and air travel
  • Overnight stays during installation project
  • Most travel occurs Monday through Friday
  • Occasional Sunday travel only with prior approval Qualifications All required qualifications from the original role are included here, written to match the Specialist tone:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and tape measure
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts
  • Comfortable driving long distances and navigating dense city environments
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to follow exact procedures
