Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Roofing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting roofing projects from start to finish! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, performing various roofing tasks, driving a dump truck, picking up materials, etc. As a roofing assistant, you will collaborate closely with experienced roofers, assist with repairs, and maintenance of roofing systems, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. This paid position is perfect for individuals with roofing experience who like a variety of jobs to do. Duties Assist with the repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including shingles, EPDM flat roofs, etc. Support the setup and safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses during outdoor work, when needed. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure job site. Drive the dump truck to job site and to dump. Good drivers license a must. Prior roofing experience is highly required. Familiarity with roofing repair techniques is required. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and safety harnesses while adhering to construction safety regulations. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in roofing and restoration projects.
