Job Overview Cornerstone Home Repair Company LLC is a growing residential remodeling and home improvement company serving Sandusky and surrounding areas. We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and skilled individual to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who has experience in multiple areas of residential construction and remodeling and takes pride in producing quality work. Our projects vary from day to day and may include complete remodels, bathrooms, kitchens, siding, roofing, decks, flooring, drywall, trim, doors and windows, painting, and general home repairs. We are looking for someone who can work alongside the owner and other crew members, follow directions, solve problems in the field, and eventually handle portions of projects independently. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to show up and collect a paycheck. We are looking for someone who cares about craftsmanship, integrity, reliability, and representing our company professionally in our customers' homes.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Residential remodeling and general construction Interior and exterior carpentry Siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior trim installation Deck and porch construction and repair Drywall installation, finishing, and repair Flooring installation Interior and exterior trim work Door and window installation Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Basic demolition and job-site preparation Painting and finishing Minor plumbing and electrical-related remodeling work within the scope of the project Material handling and job-site organization Maintaining a clean and professional work area Properly using and caring for company tools and equipment Following job-site and OSHA safety practices Communicating professionally with homeowners, coworkers, subcontractors, and management What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Has previous residential construction or remodeling experience Is comfortable working with common power and hand tools Understands basic construction measurements and layout Can accurately read a tape measure Has good attention to detail Takes pride in doing work correctly instead of taking shortcuts Can follow instructions and also work independently when necessary Is dependable and shows up to work on time Can communicate professionally with customers Is willing to learn additional trades and skills Can safely work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts when required Is physically capable of performing normal residential construction work Has reliable transportation to work Has a valid driver's license Experience in multiple trades is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider someone who has a strong construction background, good work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn. Schedule Full-time position. Typical work is Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours depending on project schedules and deadlines. Job locations will primarily be in Sandusky and surrounding Northern Ohio communities. Compensation Pay is based on construction experience, skill level, reliability, and ability to work independently. Applicants with strong multi-trade remodeling experience and the ability to lead or complete projects with minimal supervision may qualify for higher starting compensation.
