Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a roofing specialist, focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems. This role involves working outdoors on construction sites, utilizing a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to ensure high-quality roofing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, siding installation, and related construction activities, with a keen eye for safety and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, from metal roofing to single-ply membrane systems, while adhering to strict safety protocols. Duties Install, repair, and maintain different types of roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing systems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively for roofing and siding projects. Conduct roof inspections to identify damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or restoration work. Follow all construction safety regulations, including proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and fall protection equipment. Assist with masonry, stucco application, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and other related exterior finishing tasks. Lift heavy materials safely during outdoor work activities and coordinate with team members for efficient project completion. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation and repair, with knowledge of metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Strong understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses and ladders. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry work, framing carpentry, tile laying, caulking, siding installation, and restoration projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in outdoor environments. Prior construction site experience with knowledge of concrete forming and fabrication processes is preferred.
