Pay & Advancement Starting and advancement range: $16-$30 per hour. Compensation is based on demonstrated roofing and construction skills, experience, productivity, responsibility, and leadership ability. Avoda is committed to creating careers—not dead-end jobs. What You'll Do Depending on your experience and technician level, you will learn and work on: Architectural shingle roofing systems Standing seam metal roofing Exposed-fastener steel roofing Detailed metal flashing and trim work Roof tear-offs and preparation Underlayments and ice-and-water protection Roof ventilation Chimney, wall and penetration flashing Gutters and exterior construction Jobsite setup and cleanup Safe operation of roofing and construction equipment Increasingly technical installations as your skills develop We emphasize craftsmanship over shortcuts.
