In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and safety knowledge to deliver top-quality results efficiently. Duties Install a variety of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, tiles, and shingles according to project specifications and safety standards Conduct roof repairs and maintenance to extend the lifespan of existing roofing systems Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise installation Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fastening, and sealing roofing components Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in compliance with construction safety regulations to access work areas securely Perform siding installation, stucco application, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing as needed for roofing projects Heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or concrete forms while adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety protocols Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or remodeling Knowledge of roofing repair techniques for various materials including metal roofing and single-ply membranes Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical drawings or blueprints Hands-on experience working outdoors in different weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, ladder use, and fall protection measures Experience with heavy lifting, tile laying, concrete forming, handyman tasks, or stucco application is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex projects Join us to build safer roofs while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment!
