Can you look at a problem, grab the right tool, and figure out a solution? We're looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded individual with general construction or building knowledge to join our team. You don't have to be an expert in window coverings—we can teach you that part. What we need is someone who is comfortable with tools, understands basic construction, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can think on their feet when every job presents something a little different. If you have experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, general maintenance, cabinetry, flooring, or another skilled trade , your experience could translate well into this role. What You'll Do Install a variety of window coverings and related products in residential and commercial settings according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. Take accurate measurements and perform basic calculations to ensure proper installation. Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials as needed. Safely and effectively use hand and power tools to complete installations and construction-related tasks. Apply general construction knowledge to evaluate job-site conditions and identify potential issues before and during installation. Troubleshoot unexpected challenges and determine practical solutions to get the job done correctly. Perform basic drywall repair, caulking, painting, trim work, and other finishing tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work with team members and other project stakeholders to complete projects accurately and on schedule. Load, unload, move, and position materials and equipment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly on occasion. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring General knowledge of construction, building practices, or skilled trades. Previous experience in construction, remodeling, installation, carpentry, maintenance, or a related field is preferred. Experience installing blinds, shades, shutters, or other window coverings is a plus, but not required . Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools, products, and installation techniques. Ability to read measurements, follow specifications, and perform basic math. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently when faced with unexpected challenges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional communication and customer-service skills. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly on occasion. The Bottom Line If you're the person everyone calls when something needs to be built, fixed, installed, or figured out, we want to hear from you. We're looking for someone with a builder's mindset. Someone who takes pride in their work, learns quickly, solves problems, and leaves every job better than they found it.
