In this role, you will play a vital part in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install roofing components according to project specifications. Set up and secure ladders and scaffolding while adhering to construction safety harnesses and safety protocol regulations. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding, and framing components while maintaining proper lifting techniques. Support the installation of siding, stucco, trim carpentry, caulking, and other exterior finishing tasks. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site cleanup, material fabrication on-site if needed, and restoration work after project completion. Requirements Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or exterior building work is highly preferred. Familiarity with roofing repair techniques including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Experience using hand tools such as hammers, saws, caulking guns, as well as power tools required for roofing tasks. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and adherence to OSHA or local safety regulations. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship.
