Cornerstone Roofing is looking for an experienced Roofing Service Specialist to help grow our residential repair and service division. This is a unique position for an experienced roofer who is comfortable working directly with homeowners and wants the opportunity to earn more by combining roofing knowledge, customer service, sales, and hands-on repair work . You will be responsible for running service calls, diagnosing roofing issues, presenting repair options to homeowners, selling the work, and completing smaller repairs during the same visit whenever practical. For larger repairs, you will sell and scope the work for our repair team to complete. What You'll Do Inspect & Sell Respond to residential roofing repair and service leads Inspect roofs and diagnose leaks and other roofing issues Explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners Prepare repair estimates using a tablet Close repair work during the appointment whenever possible Identify additional opportunities involving ventilation, skylights, flashing, maintenance, gutters, and related roofing components Recognize when a roof should be replaced rather than repaired and transition qualified reroof opportunities to our reroof sales team Perform Roofing Repairs Complete smaller repairs during the initial visit whenever practical, including: Roof leak repairs Pipe flashing replacement Damaged shingle replacement Ridge-cap repairs Sealing roof penetrations Vent replacement Minor flashing and fascia repairs Emergency tarping Warranty-related repairs Larger repairs will be scheduled with our repair production team. What We're Looking For 5+ years of residential roofing experience preferred Strong knowledge of asphalt shingle roofing systems Ability to diagnose roof leaks and identify the correct repair Comfortable communicating and selling directly to homeowners Strong customer-service skills Able to work independently and manage a daily schedule Comfortable using a tablet and technology in the field Valid driver's license and clean driving record Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Compensation $30-$35/hour , depending on experience Commission on repair sales Bonus opportunity for qualified reroof referrals that result in a sale Company truck Fuel card Company phone/iPad Benefits available Why This Position Is Different This isn't a position where you'll spend all day doing production roofing, and it isn't a traditional sales position where you never pick up a tool. We're looking for someone who understands roofing well enough to diagnose the problem, earn the homeowner's trust, recommend the right solution, sell the work, and complete smaller repairs efficiently. Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
