Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality siding materials on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help transform building exteriors, providing lasting protection and enhancing curb appeal. Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine siding specifications and installation procedures Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as caulking or trim carpentry components Install various types of siding including vinyl, fiber cement, metal siding, and stucco with precision and attention to detail Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses to safely access work areas at heights Follow construction safety regulations rigorously, including proper ladder use and harness protocols to prevent accidents Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards Perform minor repairs on roofing or related exterior components as needed during siding installation projects Experience Prior construction experience with siding installation or related exterior building work is highly preferred Knowledge of roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and restoration techniques is a plus Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings for accurate installation Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry and frame carpentry), and fabrication processes Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions demonstrating resilience and adaptability Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and proper ladder use Additional skills such as plumbing, tile laying, concrete forming, heavy lifting, or remodeling are advantageous but not required Join us in building exceptional exteriors that stand the test of time!
