Posted 08/2026 Job Description Job Summary Structures Mechanic - Direct Hire We are actively seeking experienced structures mechanics to support a growing aerospace manufacturer in Southern California. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a highly technical environment supporting aircraft assembly and fabrication. This position is ideal for candidates with aviation structures or sheet metal experience looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and production operations. Compensation & Benefits
  • $22.00-$35.00/hour (DOE)

  • Aircraft structures assembly and fabrication
  • Sheet metal and composite component work
  • Working on aircraft components and subassemblies
  • Support of production and manufacturing operations Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble aircraft and subassemblies using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
  • Perform trimming, forming, aligning, fitting, and installation of sheet metal and composite components
  • Drill, countersink, and install rivets and fasteners with precision
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers and torque wrenches to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Accurately document completed work Qualifications
  • Prior aircraft structures or sheet metal experience required
  • Experience with drilling, riveting, and aircraft assembly processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Basic math skills including geometry and measurement conversions
