Posted 08/2026 Job Description Job Summary Structures Mechanic - Direct Hire We are actively seeking experienced structures mechanics to support a growing aerospace manufacturer in Southern California. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a highly technical environment supporting aircraft assembly and fabrication. This position is ideal for candidates with aviation structures or sheet metal experience looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and production operations. Compensation & Benefits- $22.00-$35.00/hour (DOE)

- Working on aircraft components and subassemblies
- Support of production and manufacturing operations Key Responsibilities
- Assemble aircraft and subassemblies using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
- Perform trimming, forming, aligning, fitting, and installation of sheet metal and composite components
- Drill, countersink, and install rivets and fasteners with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and torque wrenches to ensure accuracy
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Accurately document completed work Qualifications
- Prior aircraft structures or sheet metal experience required
- Experience with drilling, riveting, and aircraft assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Basic math skills including geometry and measurement conversions
- Ability to work independently and within a team Additional Information We are working with a limited number of openings, and the team is moving quickly through the hiring process.
