Job Summary
Structures Mechanic - Direct Hire
We are actively seeking experienced structures mechanics to support a growing aerospace manufacturer in Southern California. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a highly technical environment supporting aircraft assembly and fabrication.
This position is ideal for candidates with aviation structures or sheet metal experience looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and production operations.

Work Scope
Aircraft structures assembly and fabrication
Sheet metal and composite component work
Working on aircraft components and subassemblies
Support of production and manufacturing operations
Key Responsibilities
Assemble aircraft and subassemblies using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
Perform trimming, forming, aligning, fitting, and installation of sheet metal and composite components
Drill, countersink, and install rivets and fasteners with precision
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Use measuring tools such as calipers and torque wrenches to ensure accuracy
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
Accurately document completed work
Qualifications
Prior aircraft structures or sheet metal experience required
Experience with drilling, riveting, and aircraft assembly processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Basic math skills including geometry and measurement conversions
Ability to work independently and within a team
