You will work at AFB using hand and power tools to cut and measure sheet metal ducts and hang VAV boxes. This is a long-term opportunity, with the current project running until the end of the year and additional projects lined up thereafter. Responsibilities Install duct systems using galvanized and double-wall sheet metal. Cut and measure sheet metal ducts accurately. Hang VAV boxes and ensure proper installation. Utilize hand and power tools effectively. Collaborate with other mechanics and trade partners on site. Essential Skills Experience in sheet metal installation. Experience in duct work and HVAC systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints. Possession of OSHA 10 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic hand tools required. Experience with mechanical installations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Titusville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
