Job Description
General Fabrication Shop Helper We are a local fabrication and machine shop looking for a dependable shop helper to assist with general fabrication, material handling, cleanup, and basic shop tasks. This is a hands-on position in a working fabrication environment and is a good fit for someone with basic mechanical ability, fabrication experience, or a strong willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist fabricators, welders, and machinists with daily shop tasks Help move, organize, and prepare materials for jobs Perform basic grinding, deburring, sanding, drilling, and finishing work Assist with cutting, measuring, and layout as needed Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Use basic hand tools and power tools Help with assembly and general fabrication projects Follow shop safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
