We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our HVAC and mechanical fabrication team. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in sheet metal layout, cutting, forming, and assembly, with a commitment to precision, safety, and quality craftsmanship. This role plays a key part in producing custom ductwork, fittings, and components used in residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Pay Range:
$20-$25 per hour Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and fittings according to blueprints and specifications. Operate power tools and machinery such as brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and roll formers. Measure, mark, and lay out materials to ensure accuracy and proper fit. Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with installers and service teams to ensure timely delivery and project accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized fabrication area, ensuring compliance with all safety policies. Load, transport, and assist with field installation when required. Assist with Warehouse duties, including but not limited to operating the forklift, inventory management, and working with vendors. What you
Bring:
Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related trade. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and HVAC ductwork diagrams. Experience on a forklift. Proficiency with sheet metal machinery and hand tools. Knowledge of SMACNA standards and HVAC system components preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
