Craftsmen Contractors is hiring skilled Sheet Metal/Ductwork Mechanics for a construction project in the Gonzales, LA area. This is for an ongoing commercial project working 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. This will change to overtime hours at some point. Pay is $30/hour. Weekly pay by direct deposit. No per diem is offered for this position.

Job Duties:

Install/hang sheet metal and ductwork Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately Troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process and implement effective solutions Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal/Ductwork Mechanic Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors. Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
