Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Detail-oriented, accurate, and eager to learn new fabrication methods. Excellent work history with a team-oriented, positive attitude. Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings, and sketches to determine fabrication requirements. Fabricate sheet metal parts using efficient methods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and appearance meet company standards. Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punches, and shears. Select appropriate fabrication processes and use various tools and machines safely and effectively. Maintain work area per 5S standards, report equipment maintenance needs, and follow all safety policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sheet Metal Fabricator. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
