Job Description
Craftsmen Contractors is hiring experienced Sheet Metal/Ductwork Mechanics for a data center project in the Canton, Mississippi area. This is for an ongoing commercial project working 55 to 60 hours Monday through Saturday. There are 2 pay options for these positions: Option #1: $27•$28 per hour, working 60 hours a week with no per diem. Option #2 for travelers: $24•$26 per hour plus $100/day per diem for those who qualify Please respond to the screener question regarding which pay option you want to go with. Weekly pay by direct deposit. Job Duties Install/hang sheet metal and ductwork Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately Troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process and implement effective solutions Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times Job Requirements Proven experience as a Sheet Metal/Ductwork Mechanic Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors. Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace. Will have to complete an online safety orientation before starting and an on-site safety orientation on your first day.
