We are a leading provider of HVAC and sheet metal solutions in the High Point, NC area. We specialize in the custom fabrication of high-quality ductwork for large scale projects. Our team is dedicated to precision, efficiency, and delivering exceptional results. We are seeking a Sheetmetal Ductwork Fabricator to join our fabrication shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the layout, fabrication, and assembly of various types of sheet metal ductwork and fitting from blueprints and specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of sheet metal techniques, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using a variety of hand and power tools, including shears, brakes, rolls, and punches. Lay out patterns and scribe lines on metal sheets for cutting and bending. Assemble and join ductwork sections using various methods, such as riveting, Pittsburgh locks, and welding (TIG/MIG experience a plus), Fabricate fittings, elbows, transitions, and other custom components. Inspect finished projects for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
