Licensed Sheet Metal Fabricator | Restivo's Heating and Air Conditioning Build the ductwork that keeps our projects moving. Restivo's Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled Licensed Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you'll fabricate high-quality sheet metal components and HVAC ductwork that support our residential and commercial installation teams. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and understands the importance of producing accurate, high-quality work. What You'll Own Fabricate rectangular, round, and specialty HVAC ductwork using galvanized sheet metal and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications. Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and finish sheet metal components to precise dimensions. Operate fabrication equipment, including brakes, shears, rollers, plasma tables, lock formers, and other shop machinery. Ensure all fabricated materials meet company quality standards and project specifications. Organize completed materials for installation crews and coordinate production schedules with project managers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication shop. Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit. Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Assist with inventory management and material usage to minimize waste. What You Bring Valid Rhode Island Sheet Metal License (or applicable licensing required for the position). 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience, preferably in the HVAC industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC duct fabrication methods and SMACNA standards. Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and fabrication layouts. Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Strong mathematical and measurement skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding shop environment. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
