Job Description

Jennings Air and Mechanical has immediate openings for a Sheet Metal Mechanic in Charleston, SC.
SUMMARY:
Sheet Metal Mechanic will work as part of the Jennings Mechanical construction team, installing sheet metal ductwork on various heating and cooling systems. Some of the main duties are as follows: Duties and Responsibilities Analyze blueprints to determine the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal goods. Install various types of ductwork, such as TDF, TDC, Slip and Drive, Spiral, and Snap-lock. Perform field modifications, cuts, miters, transitions, plenums, and repairs as needed. Optimize HVAC system installation for maximum efficiency. Be punctual and dependable.
Skills And Qualifications:
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and product specifications Skilled in the removal and installation of HVAC duct systems. Follow directions accurately. Must have a clean background check. Preferably OSHA 10 Preferred experience of (3) years, although we can train the right candidate.
