M-F ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Fabricate rectangular HVAC ductwork and fittings from shop drawings and field measurements. Measure, lay out, cut, bend, assemble, and seal sheet metal duct and fittings. Operate shop equipment including brake, Pittsburgh machine, and other fabrication tools. Fabricate transitions, offsets, elbows, plenums, reducers, and other custom fittings. Read and understand duct drawings, dimensions, and fabrication details. Maintain accurate material usage and minimize scrap and waste. Coordinate with the Operations Manager and field crews to ensure ductwork is fabricated correctly and ready when needed Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

: Previous HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience required. Commercial HVAC duct fabrication experience strongly preferred. Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic shop math. Knowledge of sheet metal gauges, duct construction, fittings, and fabrication methods. Experience operating standard sheet metal fabrication equipment. Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision. Dependable, organized, safe-conscious, and team-oriented. Must take pride in producing clean, accurate, quality work.
