Solar Installation Crew - Electrician & Roof Installers Pacific Coast Generation Inc. is hiring 3 experienced solar installers to join our Southern California installation team. We are looking to fill the following positions: 1 Solar Electrician / Lead Installer 2 Solar Roof Installers We install residential solar and battery storage systems throughout Southern California. Previous solar installation experience is required. Solar Electrician / Lead Installer - 1 Position We are looking for an experienced solar electrician/lead who can handle the electrical side of residential solar and battery installations from start to finish.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Qcells AC module installation AND commissioning Tesla Powerwall 3 installation and commissioning Tesla Gateway and Backup Switch installations Enphase solar installation and commissioning Enphase battery installation and commissioning Main service panel and subpanel work Breaker and electrical equipment installation CT installation and configuration Conduit bending and wire pulls Electrical terminations Reading plans and single-line diagrams Troubleshooting solar, battery and communication issues System startup, testing and commissioning Working knowledge of NEC and residential solar requirements You must have actual field experience installing and commissioning Qcells AC module systems. We are not looking for someone who needs to be trained on Qcells AC commissioning, Tesla or Enphase. Solar Roof Installers - 2 Positions We are looking for experienced roof installers who can complete residential rooftop solar installations safely, cleanly and efficiently.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Residential rooftop solar installation Qcells module installation experience Layout and array measurements Finding rafters Installing flashings and attachments SnapNrack or similar solar racking Rail and rail-less installation experience Module installation Wire management Roof penetrations and waterproofing Working on tile and composition shingle roofs Following plans and array layouts Proper fall protection and rooftop safety Roof installers should be able to work efficiently without needing constant supervision. Requirements for All Positions Previous professional solar installation experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Comfortable working on roofs and ladders Able to lift and carry solar equipment Able to work outdoors in Southern California conditions Dependable and able to show up on time Clean and professional workmanship Strong attention to safety Able to work as part of a fast-moving installation crew About Pacific Coast Generation Pacific Coast Generation Inc. is a Southern California solar and energy storage contractor with an in-house installation operation. We are a Tesla Certified Installer and Enphase Certified Installer and install solar, Tesla Powerwall, Enphase battery and Qcells AC module systems throughout Southern California.
