Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing, finishing, and restoring a variety of flooring surfaces and tilework across residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance spaces and showcase your skills in flooring installation and finishing. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install tiles, flooring materials, and related building components according to project specifications and technical drawings Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers for optimal tile adhesion Use hand tools and power tools to accurately lay tiles, epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwoods, carpets, and other flooring types Perform floor refinishing tasks including buffing, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration to ensure long-lasting results Interpret construction plans and blueprints to execute precise installation layouts while adhering to safety standards Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, cabinetry, trim carpentry elements, and performing general handyman tasks Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials and equipment while following building installation safety compliance protocols Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Proficiency in flooring installation techniques including tile laying, epoxy floor installation, vinyl flooring, hardwood floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, chisels, trowels; power tools including saws and drills; and specialized equipment for water damage restoration and floor care Knowledge of building material installation standards with a focus on safety compliance on construction sites Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely when lifting heavy materials or working at heights Familiarity with blueprint reading for accurate project execution across various construction disciplines such as cabinet installation or fixture setup Experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is a plus; includes skills like concrete finishing or construction painting Strong understanding of water damage restoration processes and floor care techniques to restore damaged surfaces effectively Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship in construction! Pay:
