Elon Tile and Stone is seeking a Tile Sample Board Maker to join our warehouse team. As a Tile Sample Board Maker you'll have the opportunity to assemble stunning tile designs and label each board ensuring that it is up to our high quality standards. You will be responsible for cutting marble or ceramic tile, assembling the cut tile, and grouting the finished product sample on MDF boards in an efficient and precise manner. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with their hands to create something beautiful and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate is motivated, hardworking, energetic, focused, and willing to put in the effort to get the job done. Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assemble and grout tile on MDF boards or cards in an efficient manner Cut tile to size using the wet saw Clean and label sample boards Maintain inventory of sample sets completed Check inventory for breakage and report to warehouse manager Consolidate material and clean shelves when necessary Keep warehouse in safe and clean condition Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times and teaches others the importance of safety in the warehouse Some forklift experience to move our pallets is preferred but not necessary. Our warehouse staff are positive, hard working, and team oriented. Business Work Hours are Monday through Friday day shift 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
