In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of flooring and surface installation projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety compliance. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through precise tile, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy, and other flooring installations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction, restoration, and building material installation to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces and work areas by cleaning, leveling, and measuring to ensure proper tile and flooring installation. Lay tiles, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy floors, and other materials according to technical drawings and project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install various flooring materials. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to execute precise installations aligned with project requirements. Assist with demolition, surface preparation, water damage restoration, and floor refinishing tasks as needed. Follow safety protocols related to building installation safety compliance and handle materials manually with care. Support the installation of fixtures, caulking, and other finishing details to achieve a polished look. Skills Construction estimating experience for project planning and material procurement. Proficiency in epoxy floor installation, carpet installation, vinyl floor installation, hardwood floor installation, and flooring refinishing. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and fixture installation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Experience with water damage restoration and building material installation within the restoration industry or remodeling projects. Manual handling skills for lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites. Familiarity with construction site experience including safety procedures and building installation safety compliance. Handyman experience with remodeling projects or general repair work is a plus.
