Full Time Starting Pay:

$17/hour | Full-Time | Paid Training Dieter's Carpet & Tile Cleaning is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time Carpet & Tile Cleaning Technician. You will work alongside our Lead Technician and company owner providing professional carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, and specialty floor cleaning in customers' homes and businesses throughout South Florida. This is NOT a janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning position. We do not clean bathrooms, empty trash, perform housekeeping, or provide routine office cleaning. Our technicians operate professional cleaning equipment and perform specialized floor and upholstery cleaning services. We are hoping to hire within the next three weeks and are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term position and the opportunity to learn a skilled trade. What You'll Be Doing As a Cleaning Technician, you will be trained to: Perform professional carpet steam cleaning Clean tile & grout using professional equipment Clean sofas, sectionals, chairs, and other upholstery Assist with specialty floor and area rug cleaning Set up and operate professional cleaning equipment Handle hoses, tools, chemicals, and cleaning solutions safely Move furniture and equipment when necessary Protect customers' homes and belongings while working Inspect work areas before and after cleaning Maintain and clean equipment and company vehicles Speak directly with customers about their cleaning needs Explain our cleaning process and answer customer questions Recommend additional services when appropriate Work alongside our Lead Technician and owner to complete each day's scheduled jobs This is hands-on, physical work , and you will be on your feet for much of the day. Schedule - Please Read Before Applying Our schedule is based on our customers' appointments, so this is not a fixed 9-to-5 position. Start and finish times can vary from day to day. Some days may finish early, while busy days can require significantly longer hours. Occasional weekend work may also be required. You must be willing to work until the day's scheduled jobs are completed. If you require a set ending time every day, this position will not be a good fit. Experience in other hands-on field-service positions is also valuable, including: Carpet, tile, or floor cleaning Water damage/restoration Pressure washing Moving or furniture delivery HVAC or plumbing Construction Flooring Landscaping Automotive service Appliance installation or delivery Other physically demanding service trades Traditional janitorial or housekeeping experience alone is not the type of cleaning experience this position requires. However, applicants from those backgrounds are welcome to apply if they are interested in transitioning into a hands-on field-service trade and meet the requirements above.
