Summary The Generator Installer is responsible for performing high-quality installations of whole-home standby generators, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and industry standards. Essential Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform installations of whole-home standby generators, ensuring proper setup and functionality. Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and ensure quality workmanship. Work alongside other installers, following detailed instructions to maintain compliance with local, state, and company codes. Communicate with homeowners professionally and courteously to address questions and concerns during installations. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use. Drive a motor vehicle safely and legally to and from job sites and customer locations as part of the core job duties. Support the team with other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to meet expected performance. Reasonable accommodation may be made. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in construction, electrical, or plumbing is highly preferred. Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Training Strong understanding of tools and mechanical systems.
