About Us Better Built Home Remodeling is a family-owned, MHIC-licensed contractor (#159116) serving Anne Arundel County, including Annapolis, Severna Park, Arnold, Edgewater, Crofton, Pasadena, and surrounding areas. We specialize in full remodels/renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, custom decks, and sunrooms. Small crew, steady work, and owners who are on the job with you. Job Overview We're hiring a skilled laborer to work alongside our crew on residential remodeling projects. You'll handle demo, framing, tile, trim, and finish work depending on the job. We need someone reliable who shows up ready, communicates well, works clean in occupied homes, and takes pride in the finished product. Part-time 1099 to start with option to move W2 full time for the right fit. Duties Demolition and site prep, including protecting floors and finishes in occupied homes Framing, drywall hanging and finishing, trim carpentry Tile setting and bathroom/kitchen finish work Installing fixtures, doors, cabinets, and hardware Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools Daily jobsite cleanup and debris removal Following direction from lead carpenter/owners and communicating issues early Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years hands-on experience in residential construction or remodeling Proficient with hand and power tools Able to read a tape measure accurately and follow plans Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Able to lift 75+ lbs, work on ladders, and be on your feet all day Professional conduct in customers' homes Preferred Tile or finish carpentry experience Basic plumbing or electrical rough-in knowledge OSHA 10 certification What We Offer Consistent, local work Direct access to owners, no layers of management Room to grow into lead roles as we expand To apply, submit your resume or a summary of your experience.
