Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape/Hardscape Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of outdoor projects including landscaping, hardscaping, and general site maintenance. Responsibilities include planting, mulching, grading, installing pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and operating basic hand and power tools. Experience in site work including using heavy machinery. You will work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work in various weather conditions, and has a strong work ethic with attention to detail. Prior experience in landscaping or construction is preferred but not required. Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to build skills in landscaping and hardscape construction. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks. Assist in stone laying and ensure proper installation techniques are followed. Installation of hardscapes and landscapes. Site work. Including using heavy machinery. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Installation of stone patios, stairways, and walls. Installation of plants/trees/shrubs Dirt work Support construction management efforts by maintaining organized job sites and assisting with project coordination. Contribute to restoration projects as needed, applying skills learned on the job. Qualifications Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred. Previous experience in landscaping/hardscaping Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment is essential. Familiarity stone cutting Understanding of construction inspection processes and safety regulations is important. Skills in carpentry is desirable Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
